GeoAnalytics Team at PwC brings together people specialising in spatial analysis, programming languages that allow working with spatial data, spatial information systems, spatial databases, business intelligence tools and products based on big data technologies.
We build solutions combining state of the art technologies and spatial data. We cooperate with multiple sector teams such as real estate, retail and banking. We deliver projects in CEE region and globally cooperating with different firms from PwC network around the world.
We are currently looking for a Consultant in GeoAnalytics team based in Warsaw.
You will be involved in building a PwC global spatial data platform and designing new products.
Consultant in GeoAnalytics team
Responsibilities:

Designing and testing new products based on spatial technologies;
-
Developing Big Data competencies in the team;
-
Solving complex technical issues;
-
Taking part in technological projects involving Big Data processing and/or geospatial analytics.

Developing and maintaining PwC geoanalytical data platform
Position requirements:
-
Min. 2 years of relevant experience;
-
Good understanding of Big Data technologies, such as Spark and/or Hadoop;
-
Experience in relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server;
-
Knowledge of Python or R;
-
Practical experience with Linux;
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure will be and asset;
-
Proven knowledge of spatial technologies, spatial data and/or spatial information systems would be beneficial;
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills - necessary in everyday cooperation with clients and international teams;
-
Ability to solve complex problems;
-
Ability to manage your own and your co-workers work (subcontractors, support service employees);

Very good English;
-
Understanding the problems associated with data analysis will be an asset.
