Job Description
- Monitor daily EDI operations: verify EDI transmissions, assure compliance, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis, data exception handling, and re-processing when necessary
- Being a point of contact between IT and business
- Taking part and implementing new customers
- Gathering requirements and requests from clients and partners,
- Test inbound and outbound transmission of EDI documents
- Delivering enhancements in subject area including: interaction with client end-users, requirement gathering, Functional Specification (FDD) documentation, Unit Testing / Functional testing / and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
The Successful Applicant
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system: supply chain, sales, purchasing
- Experience in an EDI coordinator/mapping/integration of systems role
- Understanding of EDI and supporting business process concepts
- Experience in business application design, implementation of SAP EDI systems and IDOC processing
- Understanding EDI standards (EDIFACT, XML, ANSI,VDA,ODETTE, etc.) and EDI messages such as SAPIDOC, ORDERS,ORDRESP, INVOICEDESADV and other
- Analytical attitude and ability to work with demanding clients and to work in a team
