Our Client is an international manufacturing organization. In order to strengthen the team, we are seeking to recruit a talented professional for the newly created position of Finance Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for both financial accounting as well as all cost accounting aspects of the plant, partnering with the regional management team in successfully managing the manufacturing operations and meeting financial objectives. Finance Manager will implement a financial and controlling best practices including management reporting, analysis, forecasting for the plant management team and divisional leadership at HQ. Key areas of focus include monthly KPI performance analysis, budget/forecast development, and support/analysis of cost reduction initiatives.

Job Description
- Plan, direct and monitor all key processes within the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities
- Leading a weekly review of prior week and month -to-date estimates versus budget and forecast with the plant management team
- Inventory control and reconciliation, including reviewing or auditing the adherence to cycle count procedures and leading the annual physical inventory
- Preparing economic cost studies for projects concerning new or existing products, manufacturing processes, equipment, or facilities
- Annually reviewing and auditing of internal control procedures in order to sustain compliance and to manage and minimize financial risk at the facility
- Supporting the plant in generating and quantifying cost savings opportunities, and supporting the plant management team in the implementation of cost reduction initiatives
- Month-end closing responsibilities, including reporting and analysing variances to budget and forecast
- Report to CFO at HQ with dotted line to managing director (Poland)
- Manage legal/tax oversight in Europe
The Successful Applicant
- University degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or economics
- A qualified professional with a minimum 3-5 years of experience (in a similar role in international manufacturing environment)
- Deep understanding of all P&L, balance sheet components and financial accounting as a strong fundamental
- Demonstrated ability to link and analyze plant operational metrics to financial performance
- Customer focused with strong attention to detail and capable of delivering accurate, quality results in a timely, consistent, and professional manner
- Ability to provide clear leadership and motivate people, good communication and interpersonal skills
- Pro-active hands-on, solution driven mentality, with attention to detail
- Strong strategic thinking combined with excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Polish with the ability to share knowledge at appropriate levels of the organization
- IT Literacy, advanced Microsoft Office skills
