Job Description
- Supporting Global category leaders with developing Sourcing strategy to deliver category targets and savings targets
- Managing sourcing projects (incl. issue of RFP, RFQ)
- Conducting negotiations (face-to-face, online, e-auctions etc.) to assure company requirements are met
- Analyse received proposals, make recommendations for supplier selection, preparation of the summary reports
- Ensuring compliance to company procurement policies and improve the usage of the procurement tools
- Contracts administration - gathering signatures and contract storage in the system
- Driving simplification & standardization of the sourcing processes
The Successful Applicant
- Higher education (at least MSc, PhD would be a strong asset) in one of the following: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or other relevant
- At least 1-2 years of experience either pursuing scientific career, or in clinical research
- Prior procurement experience, or at least exposure to procurement procedures, would be a strong asset
- Excellent people skills, experience in multi-national environment, preferably on project-basis
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present information in a clear and concise format to all levels within the organization
- Ability to engage fast with the stakeholders on different level in the organization
- Strong relationship and business partnering skills
- Influencing skills
- Basic project management skills
- Self-starter, multi-tasker, with excellent self-organizing skills and attention to detail
- Microsoft Office literacy (Excel), knowledge of procurement programs would be a strong asset
- Excellent English, Polish is a strong preference
