Job Description
- People management - recruitment, training, coaching, professional development, control of daily workload
- Managing general ledger activities for the Clients
- Managing cooperation with other departments and functions within SSC organisation
- Building and maintaining relations with Clients, acting as escalation point
- Acting as accountancy expert for GL Team, Clients and SSC organisation
- Application of corporate policies and procedures as well as statutory and internal control requirements
- Leading preparation of Statutory Financial Statements and annual audit process
- Supporting Continuous Improvement culture, initiating efficiency changes
- Providing support in special projects
The Successful Applicant
- FLUENT spoken & written English is a must,
- Sound understanding of accounting principles is a must (IFRS preferred) supported by ACCA or similar qualification
- Min. 10 years accounting experience (with min 3 years on managerial position in GL)
- Very strong people management skills
- Ability to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities
- Cooperation skills oriented on result and customer needs
- Knowledge of HFM or other ERP package is an advantage
