Who we are looking for

Identity and Access Management is seeking a highly capable candidate with a strong project implementation background and knowledge of IAM principles and practices.  Identity and Access Management Specialist will join a highly collaborative team responsible for managing a wide range of projects related to extending Identity and Access Management controls and adoption of SailPoint, State Street’s enterprise IAM platform.  The team is also responsible for daily oversight of the Identity and Access Manage Policy, Standards and Controls including identification and implementation of appropriate additional controls.

 

The ideal candidate has experience with SailPoint, an understanding of State Streets operations in EMEA and APAC and awareness of tools and applications used in those teams.  He/she has experience managing technology implementation projects related to Information security or Identity and Access Management including operating model definition and business user adoption.  He/she has a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, has a positive attitude and can thrive in a dynamic business and technical environment. He/she is resourceful and can “figure it out”.  He/she is flexible and has shown ability to be an agent of changes.  The candidate must be able to effectively communicate with business and technology team members at all levels of the organization.  The candidate is a team player who makes those around him/her better at their job.

 

What you will be responsible for

  • Advising business unit management and staff about SailPoint capabilities and assist with completion of configuration forms and other requests necessary for implementation
  • Leading the planning and management of large Operating Model and Technology Projects including operating model changes and user adoption
  • Coordinating overall implementation communications, risk and issues resolution
  • Supporting adoption of SailPoint and other IAM related tools and technology
  • Supporting the IAM Program strategy and direction to meet internal and external client needs through understanding of their business
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gain support for IAM Program activities and projects

 

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or business field required
  • Experience with SailPoint or similar IAM platforms preferred
  • Detailed understanding of State Street’s model for one or more SailPoint capabilities such as access request and approval, role configuration and segregation of duty rules
  • Two- three years of relevant project manage experience
  • Demonstrated success managing operating model definition and end user adoption
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and create a sense of urgency for others
  • Knowledge of logical access policies, practices and procedures
  • Understanding of Corporate and industry Identity and Access Management principles and practices is helpful
  • PMP certification helpful
  • Demonstrates commitment to developing self
  • Advanced understanding of MS applications with focus on data analysis (Excel), process flow (Visio) Projects planning (Project) and presentations (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team
