We are currently looking for:

Senior Compliance Analyst
Senior Compliance Analyst
Location: Kraków, małopolskie

The Senior Compliance Analyst will work within the Investor Services Compliance Team located in Krakow to develop and execute on the compliance monitoring program; policies and procedures and compliance training framework for Investor Services Line of Business. The individual will assist in the execution of compliance monitoring  across all Investor Services line of business. She/ he will work with others on the team to carry out a test, gather evidence, draw conclusions to present to the Senior Compliance Management team as well as draft report and track action items. Additionally, the individual will assist in the ongoing management of compliance policies and procedures. The individual will also assist in the drafting and implementation of compliance training and awareness program across the Investor Services line of business. This role requires good understanding of the Investor Services Line of Business, the outsourcing arrangements and the risk environment within the BBH group. The individual will have to exercise her/ his good judgment to assess facts in order to arrive at a risk assessment.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a compliance risk assessment and testing process for Investor Services line of business.
  • Participate in creation and maintenance of the annual compliance monitoring plan and the frequency plan
  • Carry out compliance monitoring tests liaising with the relevant business teams and Compliance peers
  • Draft reports of findings for presentation to senior compliance management and track action items to closure
  • Identify ways to strengthen compliance risk management practices with the Investor Services line of business
  • Assist in the ongoing management of Compliance Policies and Procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and / or delivery of trainings.
  • Assist BBH Krakow business and its senior management in the resolution of compliance matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills yet with open mind to connect dots
  • Good understating of the financial services industry, its risks and regulations
  • Capacity to distinguish facts from opinions, actual practices from regulatory requirements
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Synthetic presentation and willingness to have an informed opinion
  • Understanding of the Compliance role as the 2nd line of defense control
  • Capacity to relate to stakeholders of different background and levels of seniority
  • Work experience of at least 5 years
  • Law degree or direct experience in any of BBH businesses is a plus
  • Experience in Audit/ Risk Management/ Compliance is a plus
