Your role
Would you like to work in SCRUM team? As an IT Business Analyst within IT Operations you will be responsible for:
• business architecture and driving business and process related parts of the delivery of strategic regulatory initiatives
• work hand-in hand with product owner, project managers and technical IT delivery leads on making sure the software and solutions delivered ensure firm’s compliance and are of the highest technical standards
• engage with colleagues at all levels to meet business requirements
• translate business requirements into technical documentation
• collaborate with technologists to drive delivery in Scrum team
• conduct as-is and to-be impact analysis
• contribute to reduction of all security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards
• identify opportunities to improve our processes

You will be cooperating with multiple teams located in Krakow and Wroclaw working on a strategic regulatory transaction reporting platform. Our software is a heart of UBS Investment Bank and UBS Wealth Management – we are in charge of near real-time reporting each and every OTC (over-the-counter) and ETD transaction to multiple global regulators.
Your expertise
• minimum 5+ years of experience in applying business analysis techniques
• experience in enterprise architecture, system integration and software development - preferably in banking industry
• the ability to understand and interpret a set of technical requirements
• an understanding of the software development lifecycle
• ability to write SQL queries and understanding of XML and XPATH
• experience in financial markets, OTC and ETD derivatives
• strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
• solid experience in stakeholder management
• fluent in English
