Job Description
- Maintaining reconciling and analyzing discrepancies and making appropriate adjustments of balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Preparing monthly journal entries
- Maintaining fixed assets and related depreciations
- Supporting month-end financial reporting and variance analysis
- Supporting financial statements preparation
- Participating in internal and external audits
- Implementing internal financial controls
- Participating in knowledge transfer and integration of further European legal entities
- Contributing to implementation of process and system changes
The Successful Applicant
- MA degree, preferably in Finance&Accounting
- Experience in General Ledger department
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of accounting processes
- Independent, proactive and well-structured way of working
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with internal customers and external partners
- Ability to manage time-dependent critical processes
- Practical knowledge of ERP system (SAP knowledge preferred)
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Language requirements: English - min. B2, strong asset German
- Open to travel for knowledge transfer
