As a Project Manager, you become a part of our Global Shared Services in Gdansk. Here, you won’t find factory machines or farmers. Instead, you will join over 400 colleagues dedicated to supporting all of Arla with IT, HR, Procurement and financial operations. About the job
Procurement Services team is a part of Source to Pay department. As a team we are involved in various projects related to development of Procurement infrastructure and optimization of Source to Pay process, supporting Compliance agenda, ensuring high quality of Procurement Master Data, building strong service organization to help our business end users and internally our Category Managers.
Moreover on daily basis we are providing support related to SAP and Ariba ordering channels and relevant processes, hosting training sessions about using Arla’s purchasing systems; driving price update process for accepted suppliers, maintaining Ariba catalogues. What is important for us is that we collaborate closely with Procurement colleagues and other Arla teams to build end to end solutions that give value and support Source to Pay area.
Specifically, you will:
- Drive and support Procurement Projects related to Source to Pay process, tools and compliance
- Create solid change management plans and define Project approach,
- Interact and influence Arla Management from different levels,
- Create solutions that continuously improve end to end processes.
Who are you?
As a person you demonstrate holistic approach when creating solutions. You are flexible and open for change. You are independent and have a positive mindset combined with a high level of collaboration. Your analytical skills and the ability to deliver in an independent and structured way is a prerequisite. Last but not least, you are a strong communicator in English.
Furthermore:
- Education at Master’s level in economics, project management or relevant
- 4 years of experience within Project Management, incl. change management and Procurement area
- Positive approach in difficult situation and ability to engage various stakeholders
- Open and passionate communication to build strong commitment
- Source to Pay process knowledge
- Knowledge of Agile approach as advantage

Global Shared Services consists of multiple functions that are all placed in the Neptun building in Gdansk – with colourful offices and a beautiful sea view.
