Purpose of the role
The main purpose of the role is to find ways for converting local finance process variants into global operational process standards and introducing proposals of process changes to the Head of Group Finance. Process Efficiency Manager plays an important role in global process standardization because of practical process involvement and dialogue with specialist and decision-makers within the Global Lundbeck Finance Community.
The person will provide an input for the new Finance Process Standardization Board with representatives from Group Finance, GBS and all Affiliate Finance Functions.
The success of the person in this role will be measured on the throughput and quality of standardizations made, but also stakeholder satisfaction with regards to derived process efficiencies.
Your job and key responsibilities
- Identifying areas for process improvement in finance and proposing process changes that convert local finance process variants into global standard processes
- Facilitation of specialist workshops to document and uncover process optimization potential
- Facilitation of standardization board meetings to gain common ground on global process standards
- Proposing and implementing standardization project initiatives
- Being responsible for analyze and document processes by go-see (GEMBA) and assessing existing documentation
- Supporting design and documentation of new global processes
- Ensure clear process roles and responsibilities within GBS and towards affiliates and Finance HQ
- Maintain GBS process owner landscape
Our preferred candidate has the following personal and professional qualifications
- 4+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting
- Process Excellence / LEAN experience required (experience with finance process automation preferred)
- LEAN Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred
- Experience in working with various types of stakeholders, including specialists as well as high-level positions
- Project management experience
- Experience working in a matrix organization
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Office (advanced knowledge of MS Excel would be an asset)
- English at C1 (another European language is welcome)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including presentations to management
- Strong business partnering skills, willing and able to engage stakeholders with different priorities and objectives
- Mature and assertive attitude towards challenges and problem solving - being able to work independently and able to determine information needed to resolve more complex issues, manage pressure effectively and cope well with setbacks

- Being able to work to tight deadlines and with switching priorities, recognizing the sense of urgency
