A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our Vendor Relations team manages multiple vendors with onshore and offshore resources that provide information technology operational services to PwC. You’ll assist the team by handling all day to day communication, drafting engagement documents, and maintaining operational quality from vendors.

Additional Responsibilities

The Product Demand Manager is responsible for managing the demand assessment process across multiple product lines and also working in conjunction with product leaders to make sure that demand decisions occur within reasonable times. This role is essential to establishing that there is an organized and predictable model for decisioning enhancement requests submitted by the user communities of multiple products.

 

Job Requirements and Preferences: 

Basic Qualifications: 

Minimum Degree Required:  High School Diploma

Minimum Years of Experience:  6 year(s) of progressive experience working in the technology industry, including experience with analysis and working on or managing projects.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Degree Preferred:  Bachelor Degree

Preferred Fields of Study:  Information Technology, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering

Certification(s) Preferred:  CIS - IT Service Management, CIS - Financial Management, CIS - Project Portfolio Management, CIS - App. Portfolio Management

 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: 

Demonstrates intimate knowledge of, and proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Flight controller for new product demands bringing order, structure and discipline to the demand pipeline process

  • Responsible for setting the right cadence for pipeline/demand meetings and driving next steps around product demand governance

  • Pipeline reporting to show demand trends and bottlenecks in supply

  • Monitor product demand queue and prepare demands for product governance teams

  • Facilitate demand governance calls and record decisions and reasoning

  • Manage follow-ups with territories to gather more information on requests as needed

  • Manage demand lifecycle as per PwC Global IT guidelines

  • Facilitate the estimation process for territory-funded requests

  • Create/Update PPM plans in ServiceNow for approved demands

  • Supporting stakeholders and customers through product demand governance lifecycle

  • Providing data/updates for product communications

  • Prepare Work Orders for territory-funded initiatives

  • Manage communications to stakeholders regarding demand governance decisions
