Who we are looking for:

The GTS EMEA Project Delivery team is responsible for managing and delivering IT projects raised by State Street business and/or technology groups, following project management processes and best practices aligned with internationally recognized standards. The delivery team provides regular progress reporting on all projects and programs in the EMEA project portfolio for senior management within IT and business, supporting our senior stakeholders with their decision making and their communication / presentation of performance.  The IT PM Analyst will be responsible for supporting Project and Program Managers and the PMO team.

 

What you will be responsible for:

Role of the IT PM Analyst is to provide administrative support to project and program managers, ensuring compliance with reporting and governance requirements on projects and programs. The role will also support the GTS EMEA PMO team in ensuring compliance with all project governance requirements.


As PM Analyst you will support the management of projects and programs and production of reporting and analysis of several high profile technology portfolio deliverables, including the following which are provided to senior management in IT and Business and their direct reports: Project and program reporting and RAID management; Various Committee and Board Reporting and EMEA Portfolio Governance Reports. In addition, you will support the team with a variety of ad hoc reporting, presentation and analysis tasks. Reporting to GTS EMEA Project Portfolio Manager.

  • Assist Project/Program Manager in coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

  • Support Project/Program Manager to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Manage detailed project plan to monitor and track progress under direction of Project/Program Manager

  • Manage administration of changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs as directed by Project/Program Manager

  • Update project/program reporting using appropriate tools and techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Support relationship management with the client and all stakeholders

  • Support performance of risk management to minimize project risks

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis

  • Support Project/Program Manager in developing comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

  • Ensure Projects and Programs comply with all internal governance requirements and standards

  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency

  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Education & Preferred Qualifications:
To be successful in the role you will have experience of producing regular and ad hoc Management Information; be able to efficiently and proactively support the team; possess strong and adaptable Excel and PowerPoint skills; be familiar with CA PPM and PM methodologies supporting robust and reliable reporting frameworks; recognise the importance of controlled reporting environments; work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy; be studying towards a project management qualification
