Who we are looking for:

Private Cloud Admin and Automation Engineer will be responsible for automating OS Build, configuration, patching and maintaining Devops engine to deploy custom application on the Private cloud VMs.

Maintain a declarative model portal for App VM deployment using metadata. Engineer/Maintain Private cloud Physical and VM images. Maintain/Automate the patching of deployed workload in private cloud.  Enhance/Automate the private cloud operations using scripting.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in IT or relevant industry

• Linux administration, OS install, configuration, OS image creation

• KVM api to create/automate VM creation scripts

• Linux patch management tools –like RedHat Satellite

• Setup/maintenance of Redhat Satellite and yum repo

• Programming experience in Java/sql

• Knowledge in private Cloud management tools –like OpenStack/ceph

• Knowledge of HCI platform/VMware

• Knowledge of Kubernetes install/Maintenance

• Knowledge of Docker image creation/Management

• Experience in unix shell scripting, Ansible or chef or puppet

• Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

• Ability to work both independently as well as within a team

• Knowledge of testing with JUNITS and quality assurance methodologies

• Experience with any Framework development will be preferable.

• Bachelor’s Degree level qualification in a computer or Equivalent

• Analyzing business requirements and application code,

• Translating business requirements into actionable specifications

• Developing, testing and deploying code

• Production support as needed
