The BBH Technology Quality Management creates and maintains an environment promoting continuous quality improvement, striving to exceed established standards and meet industry requirements. The Quality Management group is a diverse and global distributed team of 100+ Quality Engineers & Managers who are responsible for Functional and non-Functional testing including Test Automation for all software acquisitions within BBH.

As the Quality Assurance Governance Manager, you will ensure that any BBH development project follows the quality assurance policies, processes, procedures and that controls are in place to reach the high-quality standards within the approved funding.

This is a highly visible role where strong communication and collaboration skills, professionalism rigor and technical excellence are required in order to support the QM group’s objectives. This includes the support for the QA strategy, methodology, discipline and framework, maintenance and enforcement of quality and testing standards within overall funding. The successful candidate will face off with key internal stakeholders to manage the QA expectations.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that any Software developed for Firm use follows a consistent testing approach, meaning the adherence to common processes, methodologies, templates and best practices.

  • Ensure that a QM governance checklist exists and is maintained/stored for any Software development project as required.

  • Participate actively and represent QM into the weekly Change Oversight Meetings

  • Participate into the IRG discussions and make sure that proper funding is allocated for the Software testing, including non-functional testing.

  • Be the reference to the Development Project Managers about the Quality Assurance policies and processes.

  • Assess the Quality Assurance Maturity level for each of the lines of business supported by QM.

  • Evaluate the impact and benefits of the QM group’s involvement into the Software Development Life Cycle, including post-mortem analysis for the incidents caused by changes.

  • Analyze the application changes (in ServiceNow) and make sure that the quality assurance activities are reported properly (checkboxes and documentation).

  • Measure the actual test coverage provided by the QM group on all the Firm’s business applications.

  • Gather and report testing metrics (KPIs) and testing activities per line of business and functional area.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS or MIS required; Master’s preferred

  • Strong experience in IT and Software Quality Assurance as a Test Manager

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Proactive, strong-minded, flexible and assertive quick thinker with proven track record of successful collaboration skills.

  • Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly.

  • An advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized best practices.

  • A mature and professional individual who is self-motivated and enthusiastic.

  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and experience in Sharepoint is a plus.
