We are looking for an enthusiastic, technology leader with hands-on experience in cloud projects, ideally from strategy stage through implementations, migrations stages, familiar and experienced in Google Cloud Platform solutions, with ability to lead, build and grow skilled teams. This role is for an experienced and motivated person who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, project experience, analytical, team management and interpersonal skills.

What you will do:

Accountability for the GCP team within Cloud Engineering practice, including:

• Team development – drive overall growth of the team through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership
• Partner with Deloitte’s broader engineering and other teams, to define overall solutions and deliver cloud solutions as part of larger transformation projects and programs
• Team & Individual Development – Maximize team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction
• Solution definition – team with other project teams to define overall larger business and technology solutions for clients, including cloud, with focus on GCP, and hybrid architectures
• Projects, delivery management – Manage risk, project or teams economics including planning and budgeting, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from clients
• Recruit and on-boarding of new employees and development of people in Poland and in Central Europe
• Identify opportunities and sell services to both new and existing clients
• Work with teams to capture best practices and develop case studies, assets and other core deliverables to further develop cloud solution offering with focus on GCP (cloud strategy, migration, development, managed services, others)
• Participate in capability forums, events, and speaking engagements 

What you will bring:

• 7+ years working experience in software or applications development or applications infrastructure, preferably with 2+ years in private or public cloud projects including GCP, prior consulting experience is a plus
• Experience with managing technical teams and building teams, practices
• Demonstrated expertise in a variety of the Enterprise Architecture and cloud architecture concepts, practices, and procedures
• Exposure to traditional and Agile methods of working, DevOps, CI/CD practices
• Cloud architecture subject matter expertise in GCP, other cloud technologies is a plus.
• History of planning, designing, migrating successful cloud architecture and solutions platforms
• Demonstrated professional growth and the proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to create governing principles, guidelines and knowledge of Cloud best practices
• Able to plan, coordinate, architect and supervise all activities related to the Cloud projects
• Self-driven, with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
• Enthusiastic, innovative person with ambition to grow a team and practice
• Experience with selling, pre-selling and delivering Cloud projects and programs
• Good communication skills
• Degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred
