Join us as a HR Workday Analyst!
Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is looking for a talented and self-motivated HR Analyst to be a member of the Human Resources Business Technology (HRBT) team. This role will be responsible to develop and provide production support for Workday configuration including Security across our HR technology landscape between BBH and our 3rd party vendors, which may include some vendor production maintenance as well. Workday configuration includes Security, Time Off, Time Tracking, Payroll and Core HCM modules. This position will strive towards maximizing efficiency and improving processes while modifying system configuration functionality, testing configuration and integration changes, as well as managing the changes throughout the development life cycle by working with both internal and external teams that include both functional and technical resources.
Responsibilities:
Project & Process Management

Security point of contact on HR projects and enhancements providing security role design guidance and best practices

Take lead in the design and implementation of new Workday functionality

Actively pursue innovative initiatives and improvements in current processes

Partner with HR to gather/document business requirements, coordinate and document testing, and delivery accurately to HR clients

Configure changes in Workday based on business requirements

Perform testing activities; document test scenarios, create test scripts
-
Partner with HRBT team members in the design and delivery of integrations in Workday

Perform data conversion and data validation activities
-
Resolve issues and defects
-
Manage implementation phase of projects
Systems Maintenance & Controls
-
Workday Security Administration to align with operating model (i.e. assigning security groups)
-
Maintain, support and manage security administration for Workday
-
Workday Core Configuration/ table maintenance (i.e. Locations, company/pay groups, membership rules, custom organizations, cost centers, etc.)

Workday Configuration for enhancements, address defects, and new functionality (i.e. Time Off Rule, Time Off Plans, Business Process Config/Policy, Alerts etc.)

Perform mass data loads in Workday (EIBs)

Develop and document internal HR Technology Standard operating procedures
-
Provide support with Workday release security testing as needed

Support internal/external integrations with Workday, including design, testing, and troubleshooting

Conduct audits to ensure data integrity (i.e. supervisory orgs, cost centers, etc.)

Lead cyclical events for time off/time tracking and payroll processes
Client Focus
-
Address inquiries from Client Service Center related to employee data in Workday and external systems such as Safeguard payroll, and other internal BBH systems

Provide support to HR Centers of Excellence and other business owners in the firm on integrations with Workday (i.e. Safeguard Payroll, Benefits, Concur Travel Expense, Centerstone, LMS, My Compliance Office) and other requests (i.e. enhancements, defects, new functionality)
Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree required

3+ years relevant experience in HRIS, HR configuration, security or related disciplines

Workday configuration and security experience preferred

Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures (i.e. Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc.)

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines

Ability to recognize risk and remediate/mitigate as needed

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team

Experience in the financial services industry a plus
