Who we are looking for
As part of the newly formed SSBI IT Governance and Operations function the Run the Bank Manager will have responsibility for appropriate oversight of operational changes, as well as for an effective management of incidents, together with main IT vendors, such as SSBT.
What you will be responsible for
As the Run the Bank Manager you will be responsible for the oversight of the day to day IT Operations across the following areas:
- 1. IT Operational Change Management:
- Adequate, complete and consistent IT operational change pipeline
- Front-to-back operational IT change process for SSBI GmbH IT including all branches
- IT Operation and Incident Management:
- Front-to-back IT operations and incident management process that defines requirements to support the overall IT Strategy
- Close monitoring, controlling and optimization of the execution of the service catalogue
- IT BCP Coordination:
- Central coordination of all IT related BCM / BCP matters across all SSBI branches and locations
- Utilization of existing structures and optimization of processes wherever possible and necessary
- IT Infrastructure:
- Review SSBI’s Data Center Requirements (TSI) regarding changes and level of compliance (annually)
- Assure critical applications are covered by LCM programs/processes, incl. vendor provided applications

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven ability to collaborate and drive execution at all levels within the organization within regionally diverse environment
- Good networking abilities locally, across the other European legal entities and at the group level
- Ability to influence senior management, through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of presentations
- Ability to solve problems, develop alternative approaches to problems, and resolve conflicts
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technical discipline and / or demonstrable experience within a similar technology role
- 10+ years of relevant Financial Services experience with a good understanding of current banking IT regulations
- 3+ years’ experience of managing teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project
- English (with dual language proficiency in German preferred)
- Teamwork and collaboration-orientated with very good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment as well as to ensure accuracy and quality
- Tenacious self-starter with a keen sense of accountability, ownership, commitment to work and passion for delivering results
