The position owns the global governance of Finance processes and in particular end-to-end Report-To-Record (RTR) processes and end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes. This includes building, standardizing, optimizing, and maintaining processes to the global standards. The position reports to Director Service and Process Excellence and leads the definition of roles and responsibilities, reviewing and approving business requirements, governing finance master data, and partnering with stakeholders to develop/maintain process policies, performance management, and select technology solutions to global standards. The position works closely with key functional executives across the Finance, Tax & Treasury, FP&A, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Procurement and Information Technology (IT) organizations.
With a clear vision and drive to achieve best-in-class processes across the enterprise, the role holder leads the development and maintenance of a long-range technology roadmap for global enterprise financial processes. This role focuses on alignment to global strategic plans, prioritizes fiscal/resource constraints, develops the rationale for project acceptance, and manages the communication process.
The role holder directs a team of global process owner professionals located across the globe. Currently, the team of 5 people consists of 2 process owners (RTR, OTC) in Europe and 3 process owners (RTR, OTC) in Asia. The purpose of this group is to achieve best-in-class processes that yield improvements in quality and cost across the enterprise. The role holder does so by measuring current performance, benchmarking against external and internal comparatives, active innovation research and then defines a clear roadmap and drives implementation with its own team, the operations teams and stakeholders.
