Scope of duties:

• Preform data integrity checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of IHB data
• Create/maintain/update In-House Bank Master Data (IHB) including In-House Cash Accounts and Business Partner Master Data in SAP
• Complete monthly, quarterly & annual reporting of IHB participants involving key calculations to support audit & regulatory requirements
• Data reporting and daily validation checks to ensure accurate and key IHB activity
• Upload and maintain interest rate configuration in SAP on a periodic basis
• Support our IHB documentation processes for cash pool agreement & side letters
• Effectively communicate with our business partners and key stakeholders on a daily basis to provide reporting and status updates

Introduction

This individual is responsible for the core In-House Bank (IHB) reporting and data validation for Alphabet’s two In-House Banks. This position is an integral part of the Cash Management Operations BPO program to enable Alphabet to be a global multi-billion dollar business. Duties include supporting the team in continuous process improvements and transformation and consults with the management team to resolve quality, process, and efficiency issues, developing measurable project goals and objectives, and monitoring progress toward achievement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• BA/BS degree (relevant skills or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review complex business operations and develop recommendations
• Proven self-starter with strong problem-solving, project management and operational excellence
• Excellent organizational and data management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to learn quickly and work in a cross-functional, fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills including full working knowledge of written and spoken English
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes with audit & regulatory requirements
• Understand of finance or accounting related products
• Attention to detail with the ability to effectively multitask and work independently
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience with Google Docs product suite of products
• Experience working with international teams
• Previous experience with corporate treasury, banking operations, and/or SAP is a plus
• Experience with SQL, VBA and/or App Script Programming are a plus but not required
