Brown Brothers Harriman Fund Administration Systems team is looking for talented and highly motivated Java/Full Stack Developer to join our development team. Team’s objectives are to provide innovative solutions to our Fund Administration business unit which has responsibility for Financial Reporting, Regulatory Filing, Post Trade Compliance, Expense Administration, Fund Performance & Attribution, and Corporate Secretary business services. As a Java/Full Stack Developer you will be responsible for developing and extending functionalities of business applications using Java and Java Script related technologies. You will work closely with Senior Full Stack Developers, Systems Analysts and Quality Assurance Analysts. Qualifications:

Around 3+ hands-on experience with Java (8+) programming language.

Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.

Experience with web application development with Spring framework.

Knowledge of ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data).

Familiarity with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Ability to analyze, understand and create SQL queries including scripts with DML and DDL operations (Oracle).

Experience with test frameworks (Junit, TestNG, Mockito).

Ability to solve issues and troubleshoot application using logs and database queries.

Your key responsibilities would include:

Analyze, develop, and refactor Java code.

Develop and design REST API components.

Implement user interface in JavaScript-based frameworks including Angular JS.

Integrate front-end UI with the constructed API.

Design and implement integration with database layer using ORM frameworks.

Ensure the functionalities are built for performance and scalability.

Produce reliable and easy to maintain code for new and existing systems.

Collaborate with the rest of the team (developers, systems analysts, quality assurance analysts) to design and implement new features.
