Cloud Architect - Middle East Projects

Currently we’re recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join our team on Middle East projects.

As a  Cloud Architect at PwC Cloud & Digital CEE practice, you will:

• Support clients in designing solutions based on advanced public cloud technologies

• Design and develop  safe, scalable and highly available cloud solutions transforming the way our clients run their business

• Assess and design end to end cloud programs including development of strategy, architecture, processes, governance, solutions, budget and roadmap based on leading practices

• Develop RFPs, evaluate different technologies and conduct vendor evaluation and selection

• Supervise implementation of cloud solutions at client premises and work closely with cloud vendors and system integrators 

• Support your team in business development activities by developing technical and financial proposals and being proactive in selling

• Conduct research on emerging cloud technologies and spread knowledge to technology consultants and clients when required

• Assist in developing new service offering for the Technology business unit in the domains of cloud computing. 

• Develop PwC Cloud & Digital CEE practice in Poland and the Middle East region

You are a perfect candidate if  you have experience in at least three areas listed below:

• 4 + years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong background of software development or datacenter architecture type role

• Designing architecture solutions based on public cloud services

• Preparing technical documentation of designed solutions

• Handling emerging cloud technologies and standards

• Building cloud infrastructure, XaC, networking, providing best practices in security,  handling automation technologies and DevOps operating models

• Using  SCRUM/Agile approach to develop cloud native applications

Following certifications will be an advantage:

• Advanced Certification in Cloud Architecture (e.g., Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Solution Architect Professional or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect

• Certification in cloud DevOps  (e.g., Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or Google Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)

• Certification in cloud security (e.g., CCSK or CCSP)

• Certification in cyber security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SANS)
