Cloud Data Architect - Middle East Projects

Currently we’re recruiting for a Cloud Data Architect to join our team on Middle East projects.

As a  Cloud Data Architect at PwC Cloud & Digital CEE practice, you will:

• Take part in projects concerning Data Analytics and Big Data in public, hybrid and multi cloud environments

• Introduce innovative solutions in Data Analytics area based on GCP, Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud solutions

• Effectively use cloud platforms in analyzing data and building data models based on available cloud native solutions in cooperation with our Data Analytics team and business team

• Design and develop Enterprise-scale Data Warehouse maintenance systems, ETL processes as well as Machine Learning

• Collaborate with implementation teams from a concept stage to implementation, providing technical expertise in cloud and on-premise analytics and data processing 

• Develop PwC Cloud & Digital CEE practice in Poland and the Middle East region

You are a perfect candidate if  you have experience in at least three areas listed below:

• Architecture, database and analytics solutions implementation in one of the public clouds environment

• Dealing with data management practice domains and different  references models such as DAMA

• Developing and running data maturity assessments using well known maturity assessment models and techniques

• Migrating data between legacy systems and public cloud (e.g. Hadoop, Exadata, Teradata, Netezza)

• Handling Data Warehouses, ELT and Data Lakes

• Designing and maintaining Hadoop stack elements (e.g. MapReduce, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, HBase, Flume, Spark, Kafka, Flink, Java)

• Working with SQL/NoSQ databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB)

• Modeling large data sets in distributed databases (np. Apache Cassandra, Spanner)

• Preparing technical documentation of designed solutions

Certification at the level of Professional Google Cloud Data Engineer, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or AWS Certified Data Analytics will be an additional advantage but is not required.
