JavaScript Backend Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing websites, portals, and applications for E-Commerce team in Arla. It is important that the developer has a background in building scalable, maintainable, high-quality, and high-performing web applications using technology stack provided below including the latest versions of SASS, JavaScript. This person will collaborate directly with business stakeholders and work within an E-Commerce team of experienced project/product managers, experienced designers, QA analysts, and fellow developers to build enterprise-grade solutions using modern web standards.

Main tasks:

• Analysis of business requirements from stakeholders
• Estimation of needed efforts in order to develop and test solutions
• Development of new functionalities in close collaboration with PO and the rest of the team
• Maintenance of the current code and functionality
• Support of system(s) users
• Issue analysis and bug fixing
• Deployment of features

Who are you? You have:

• Experience in building cross browser compatibility applications using SASS & JavaScript
• Experience with Web Content Management systems (EPiServer CMS, Commerce)
• Experience with front-end Javascript - frameworks
• Experience with DevOps (Azure Repos, Pipelines, Releases, Boards, Sprints)
• Experience with Azure SQL Server

Furthermore, you have: 

• Good communication skills (good command of English language), both technical and towards business
• Preferably experience with technical leadership, pair programming and developer re-view/feedback
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Experience in Retail/E-Commerce industry as a plus
