Transfer Agency Product Manager

As a Transfer Agency (TA) Technical Product Manager you will work with the TA Product Owners on the strategic direction of TA from a global perspective, in line with the global strategy for the product.  You will work in close collaboration with Transfer Agency Operations, Systems, Change Management and other discipline experts across the globe to execute this direction.

Reporting to the Global Transfer Agency Product Manager, you will co-lead new TA products and services development, assess the potential of new opportunities and provide sales support for new business acquisition at senior executive level (C suite conversations). You will actively advocate for TA Product internally, with Clients and other market players.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Engage with project teams to drive execution
  • Support the business with ad-hoc data requests and solutions
  • Work with technology teams on the architectural and product roadmap
  • Provide assessments and reviews of potential technology partners such as vendors, third parties and platforms
  • Senior business Analyst / Product development
  • Lead internal and / or external client workshops/meetings at senior executive level to gather, understand, and set client’s project goals, workflows, complex business needs, gaps and opportunities
  • Definition and implementation of BBH TA 3-year plan
  • Identify gaps in current products or solutions and recommend and create new solutions to fill these gaps
  • Actively participate in industry and professional networks to secure awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices.
  • Apply industry knowledge and standards to BBH’s products and client workflows to ensure the most efficient and effective client solution
  • Drive the identification of process improvement for the Product to continually improve efficiency and market positioning at strategic level
  • Participate and / or contribute to sales effort at senior executive level to demonstrate BBH TA capabilities from a technical, model and staffing perspective including how they can be successfully applied to our client’s workflow and strategic needs.
  • Identify and address knowledge gaps of the internal groups
  • Identify and assess additional revenue generation opportunities through Industry Engagement
  • Marketing and product advocacy
  • Develop case studies to communicate to the department, client relationship managers and other clients how BBH’s products answer client needs and solves their issues
  • Partner with Marketing and Strategy to create compelling and differentiated branding, content and messaging.
  • Identify and address knowledge gaps of the internal groups
  • Manage the Product’s regulatory and risk profile through a proactive and anticipatory approach of evaluating regulations and their potential impact on TA.
  • Partner with ISRIG, Risk, Compliance and Business to minimize economic, market, reputation, and regulatory risk.
  • Support Business to have best in class controls by enhancing best practices and providing market insight

 

Qualifications: 

  • Good understanding of SDLC
  • Technically aware and experienced in data technologies including a proficiency in SQL
  • Demonstrated experience of project management principles, practices, tools and techniques including business case development, problem solving, planning and budgeting.
  • Solid client facing experience and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication, active listening, judgement and persuasion skills.
