Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Container/Cloud Engineer.
The Systems Container/Cloud Engineer in Enterprise Functions will be responsible for managing, upgrading, and monitoring multiple OpenShift Clusters. Assisting application teams on-boarding and maintaining containerized applications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Willingness to learn and master new technologies.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn container technology: Kubernetes, OpenShift, container security, container runtimes.
- Must have 4+ years of technology experience, with 2 years of hands-on cloud technology experience, preferably in the financial industry

Principal Responsibilities:
- Maintain, configure, and monitor multiple OpenShift Clusters platforms
- Work with development teams in support of migration of existing applications to container runtime
- Ensure current and accurate documentation of platform setup, configuration, and on-going maintenance
- Learn existing technology, processes, and procedures including Splunk Connect for Kubernetes, Kafka/Strimzi
- Assist in the analysis of severity 1 technical issues and provide summary to senior management
- Participate in on-call production support of production platforms and applications
