Your role

Are you a self-reliant, highly driven Business Analyst (BA) having interests in the field of Investment Banking (IB) and Financial Regulation? Are you curious, good at solving problems, familiar with Agile and keen to make a difference?

We’re looking for someone like this to:
• work on the implementation of a range of new change projects, typically as part of a larger IB-wide strategic change program. Examples include LIBOR migration and a Fundamental Review of the Trading Book
• ability to read and digest regulatory text and partner with legal to interpret the implementation intent
• acting as the lead partner who collaborates with various stakeholders across the division to gather requirements and helps to determine solutions to the business problems
• elicit business requirements
• translate gathered requirements into Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria and Scenarios
• perform the analysis of the ‘Current’ and ‘To-Be’ states
• analyse the data to ensure that the requirements are aligned with objectives to maximize the potential value of the delivered solutions
• partner with IT on the implementation of the changes, resolving issues as required

Your team

You will be working in the IB Change team in the heart of Krakow City in Poland Fabryczna Office Park), which will be part of a broader international team. IB Cross Stream Change team is part of the IB Chief Operating Office and works in partnership with the Business, Chief Data and Information Office and Group Functions, and takes ownership to manage and deliver critical strategic and regulatory changes for the Investment Bank. The team is currently made up of approximately 80 dedicated staff, consisting of project managers, business and data analysts and client engagement specialists.

Your expertise

• good understanding of numerous financial regulations such as CSDR, MiFID II, LIBOR, EMIR and SEC SBSD
• ability to read and digest regulatory text and partner with legal to interpret the implementation intent
• knowledge of agile methodologies and agile organisation operating model
• ability to capture the information obtained during the elicitation process in a clear and concise manner and translate it into user stories
• ability to arrange and facilitate meetings with stakeholders of various levels of seniority
• ability to work under pressure, without supervision and to manage deliverables with competing priorities
• very good organisational skills, a ‘can do’ approach and willingness to learn
• very good analytical and problem-solving skills
• high level of fluency in English – both written and spoken (ability to read, write, speak in a clear and concise manner)
• high level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Investment Banking product knowledge, including knowledge of the front to back flows from quoting to trade capture to settlement and regulatory reporting would be an asset
• certification in the areas of Business Analysis, Agile or Scrum Methodologies (Scrum Mater or Product Owner) would be an asset
