The incumbent will be joining the Contract & Procurement Upstream GoM (Gulf of Mexico) organization at a critical and exciting time of developing a full end-to-end Supply Chain, contributing the CP Upstream GoM organization in its Journey to Excellence.

The SC Planning Toolset Lead will work collaboratively with the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Integrated Activity Planning and Scheduling (IAPS) team to provide data and analytics solutions that address specific business challenges and/or outcomes. These solutions will help to provide enhanced understanding of the planning system we utilize and the supply chain environment within which we work, in support of efforts to drive toward data- and fact-based decision making.  This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business analytics solutions using the Microsoft toolset (primarily Power BI), as well as any subsequent revisions and/or improvements.

This role provides key insights to the Supply Chain Planning Manager and the Supply Chain Execution Manager on current contract capacities, plan credibility, and overall supply chain performance.

Accountabilities:

• Ability to engage with the IAPS team and other business stakeholders to assess and align development of analytics solutions with business needs

• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects with engagement across diverse groups of stakeholders

• Ability to consolidate data into meaningful information that explains and/or measures underlying business processes and provides insight needed for optimal decision making

• Ability to translate and map data into Power BI for visualization and reporting with particular consideration given to simplicity and automation in order to develop sustainable solutions 

• Development of best practices with regards to structuring reusable and shareable data sources and Power BI reports and serve as a local (virtual) Subject Matter Expert to coach and mentor other DIY developers

• Own and maintain documentation and training materials that describe Power BI report usage

*Work Hours & Holidays – The daily routine will follow as per asset / project working hours and holidays. Candidates are expected to work on mid-shift for a premium salary.

Requirements:

The minimum education level is a degree in a technical discipline or relevant experience as a technical professional.  Prior experience in the Energy Industry and/or a Supply Chain environment is preferred.
