For our Client, an international well-known Retailer, we are currently looking for a Chief Information & Technology Officer, who will be responsible for implementation and execution of a new IT strategy and would act as a Board Member.
Chief Information & Technology Officer - Board Member
Responsibilities:
- defines the long term technology strategic direction,
- transitions annual & quarterly prioritised IT roadmap to a customer focused and product led function,
- prioritise company for new technology initiatives ahead of next wave planning cycle,
- manages and oversees the company portfolio of work (project and product),
- inputs into the Group Tech roadmap acting as a ‘strong voice’ on Tech Global Board,
- manages capital investment and P&L input in the company,
- creating an agile culture in our ways of working and prioritisation,
- responsible for the growth and engagement of local technology capability,
- works closely with the eCommerce & Digital Director to enable customer driven solutions,
- reports directly to the General Manager and dotted line to Global CIO.
Requirements:
- Master of Engineering in computer science related fields,
- min. 5 years of experience acting as the IT Director in international working environment,
- an experienced product-based leader with deep credentials in how technology supports Retail/commercial objectives,
- customer-centric and cuts through complexity to spot what matters and creates insight,
- a real ability to influence senior stakeholders to Board level in a matrix organisation,
- leads strategically, as well as delivering operationally in a complex global/local matrixed environment,
- strong leader of people and coach who can deliver results through own team and through other teams in a matrix/cross-functional environment,
- proven experience with global delivery management including complex legacy systems,
- deep knowledge of Agile, Product, Lean, design thinking & APIs and modern architecture,
- fluency in English.
