For our Client, international company from Life Science industry, we are looking for candidates for the position of Head of Data & Analytics who will be responsible for Data Strategy regarding multiple european locations. This role will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills with deep expertise in data strategy, analytics, and data governance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science,
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership or head-of function roles,
  • experience working in healthcare, medical services, life sciences, or other regulated industries is highly preferred,
  • good understanding of data analytics and BI, data architecture and data platforms,
  • experience with modern data tools,
  • exceptional ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders,
  • skilled at navigating complex organizational structures and priorities,
  • ability to balance clinical, operational, and business perspectives,
  • ability to translate complex data concepts into clear business insights,
  • excellent presentation and storytelling with data.

Responsibilities

  • define and execute the organization’s data and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives,
  • build and lead a high-performing data team (data analysts, engineers, BI specialists, and data scientists),
  • establish a data-driven culture across the organization,
  • translate business priorities into data initiatives and analytics solutions,
  • identify opportunities to leverage data for improved patient care, operational performance, and business growth,
  • act as the primary data partner for executive leadership, country managers and operational teams,
  • facilitate alignment between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders,
  • communicate complex analytical insights in a clear and actionable way to diverse audiences,
  • lead cross-functional discussions to define KPIs, reporting standards, and data-driven decision processes,
  • oversee development of dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics that support strategic and operational decision-making,
  • implement and maintain strong data governance, data quality, and data management frameworks,
  • ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR and other relevant regulations),
  • promote best practices for data security, privacy, and ethical data use,
  • oversee the development and evolution of data platforms, pipelines, and BI tools,
  • collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable data architecture,
  • build, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary data team,
  • define clear team objectives, development plans, and performance metrics,
  • champion data literacy across the organization through training and engagement.
