Do you want to play a key role in transforming our firm to not only comply with the ISO 20022 standard but also deliver value to our clients at the same time? SIC, SEPA and SWIFT are not foreign words for you? Then you are exactly the person we are looking for.
We’re looking for an ISO 20022 Payments Specialist to:
• co-develop and evaluate payment solutions, product features and concepts for clients’ payment services (pain.001) across various channels covering the full product development lifecycle (including creation, version and infrastructure upgrades, and eventual decommissioning) and taking end to end ownership
• provide both knowledge and detailed operational as well as high quality product inputs based on previous payments experience at key moments in payments projects
• contribute consistently to business and practice development in the payment’s product management area
• act as product specialist within an agile team, participating in agile ceremonies and ensuring the product requirements are meeting our client needs and are clear to designers, engineers, and testers
• drive new products and product changes iteratively and continuously together with cross-functional team members in the pod and across the wider organization
• analyze and create requirements for various payment projects such as ISO version change or SIC / SWIFT standard release
• drive and coordinate SME input required across the banks, as required as well as the end-to-end delivery of changes (business including communication as well as technology changes) to meet the ISO standard and develop products/ features that delight our customers
• ensure the product is being tested internally and together with clients to gain insights and ensure readiness to launch before market entry (e.g., user testing and research insights)
• closely cooperate with product management, external suppliers, Marketing, Legal, Sales and IT
• support other specialists and our sales department with product questions and problems
• ensure the quality and compliance of the product, from a technical and non-functional requirement (i.e. production stability, performance, maintainability, ...)
Your team
In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. Together with 200+ colleagues in Poland, Germany, Singapore and Switzerland, you will be working in the “Transferring Money Crew” in Wroclaw. Our crew designs the payment products of tomorrow and is responsible for a wide range of today’s electronic payment products and platforms that our retail, wealth management and corporate customers depend on. As a Product Specialist, you will play an important role in enlightening our customers with new payment features and processes while also complying with all relevant policies and regulations. You will work on the front-end business design all the way through to technology implementation and as such actively shape the future of payment transactions – not only in Switzerland but globally.
Your expertise
• 3-5 years’ experience working in the payments area or similar role
• outstanding knowledge of various payment and reporting messages based on national and international ISO 20022 standards such as SPS, CGI, SWIFT MX etc.
• front to back knowledge of the payment’s ecosystem
• concept creation and co-delivery of complex payment products to clients, ideally within the financial industry, with end-to-end implementation of an IT solution
• team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels
• very strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German a major advantage)
