CEE IT Project Manager
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Due to the significant business & technology changes happening, PwC is searching for a skilled IT Project Manager, who can manage the delivery of technology projects in a dynamic environment with focus on high quality and agility ensuring the project benefits are fully realized.
This role might include occasional traveling within the CEE region.
Your main responsibilities on this position will be:

Managing business critical and complex internal IT projects in the CEE region & Global level (Infrastructure implementations - hardware/software replacements and data migrations, Software Development and Automations etc.)

Overall ownership and accountability of end to end project delivery and management from project initiation to closure including scope definition, project planning, execution and monitoring

Following and developing standards and best practices to project management with focus on value delivery and continuous improvement

Serving as focal for PM queries and providing project management consultation and expertise

Following frameworks for successful project deliveries, contribute to development of methodologies, standards and templates for other project managers

Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget

Building relationships outside of CEE region, promoting CEE PM brand and leveraging local expertise for the benefit of the whole PwC network
This role will also include participation in CEE IT Project Management Office responsibilities such as:

Overall governance of CEE IT Projects portfolio, defining standards, providing trainings maintaining up-to-date information and dealing with escalations

Ensuring compliance with PMO standards and best practices by IT Project Managers

Proactive approach and identification of issues and their resolution
Candidate requirements and skills
PM Experience
-
At least 3+ years in IT/Technology Project Management leader role

Management and ownership of entire project lifecycle

Preferred experience with infrastructure implementations, data migrations, automations

Project management certification desirable (PMI/Prince)
IT Skills

No specific IT knowledge required, preferred general IT / Technology background with passion for new technologies and ability to quickly learn and get to speed

Will be exposed to standard corporate solutions in the technology industry in networks, servers, domains, automations, cloud etc.

Proficient in the Microsoft / Google office suite
