UX Manager


Data Analytics team is the main technology hub of PwC in Poland. Currently we employ over 200+ professionals across various IT and advanced analytics roles. Our main services focus on application development and building machine learning solutions. To this end, delivering a meaningful, end-to-end user experience and helping our clients test new ideas and concepts quickly is central to our purpose. With this in mind, we are rapidly expanding our design group – composed of 10+ experienced UX and UI designers. To keep up with this rapid pace of growth we are looking for an experienced UX Manager that will help us continue to build the UX design competency and provide UX oversight for Junior to Senior UX specialists. 
 

What will you do:

  • Provide quality oversight and day to day supervision of UX design activities across a portfolio of client engagements and internal firm initiatives to ensure we deliver exceptional user experience up to our highest standards while going keeping up with technology trends and evolution of the UX discipline;

  • Lead design working sessions to build shared understanding and foster collective progress against design deliverables across projects and functions;

  • Assess performance, provide feedback and career guidance acting as a Team Leader in the UX/UI competency;

  • Working closely with business leads to shape and continuously evolve thought leadership, go-to-market approach, new offerings and value proposition around our current design services and where we are headed next;

  • Work with PwC Data Analytics senior management to help establish metrics, initiatives and mechanisms that help us improve the way we hire new talent, onboard new joiners, upskill and help our people build a meaningful career path.
     

What do we expect from you:

  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience; at least 2 years of relevant experience in a team leader role (or similar);

  • Solid familiarity with design thinking, agile principles, and a firm grasp on UI and UX best practices, information architecture and design psychology;

  • Ability to learn new software quickly and translate technology and market trends into operational priorities; considerable experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, Sketch and InVision are a plus;

  • Firm understanding in one to two areas of expertise such as Service Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or Content Design or other topics within the UX domain;

  • Experience in managing portfolio of projects involving UX and coaching UX teams, as well as creating design systems, processes and standards to enable UX teams to scale would be considered a strong asset;

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams composed of engineering, product management, and business, coupled with genuine curiosity in web apps that solve business problems;

  • Demonstrated potential to lead through influence, build long-term relationships and work with business and tech teams to create project roadmaps, scope of work, priorities and objectives;

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in a design discipline;

  • Excellent English speaking and communication skills essential to work with overseas clients;

  • Exceptional presentation skills, to be shown through the demo of your interactive design portfolio.
