Technology Consulting Manager, Financial Crime Unit
As a Manager, you will work as part of a growing financial crime technology team to help clients handle critical technology projects and programmes, from keeping pace with regulations to tackling transformation. You will play a vital part in shaping Client solutions and implementing them as well as contributing to the product management and development of existing and new innovations primarily in the AML / FinCrime space. You will scope requirements with product teams, data scientists and fellow product managers for various solutions, utilising the latest data technologies and methodologies, and develop a successful project implementation approach, taking into account business needs and technical constraints.
The role:
- Working on business development; supporting senior colleagues with preparation of marketing materials, pricing and offers to the clients.
- Running demos for the clients, marketing meetings and workshops with the clients
- Coach junior staff (RPA Business Analysts)
- Supporting team in Scrum ceremonies and capacity management
- Managing implementation projects of technology solutions composed of existing product portfolio or, partially or fully, requiring development
- Managing related Client services (continuous improvements, operational enhancements, implementations of additional modules or applications, oversight of support and maintenance, service management reporting)
- Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
- Collaborating with technology managers, business process experts, business operations, product owners, analysts, architects, and other teams to ensure the right definition and delivery for every initiative
- Taking part in additional organizational responsibilities to support the broad Technology team or product agenda - e.g. a (sub)product owner, an organizational area coordinator or other.
Candidate’s profile:
- Strong practical experience (min. 5 years) as a consultant in technology area
- Experience in IT product / project delivery / consulting services (preferably for Financial Services sector)
- Prior experience in managing the relationship with the client and key stakeholders
- Previous experience in preparing business presentations and business development
- Understanding of technology, software and system architecture
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Thorough understanding of agile, waterfall and hybrid frameworks, methodologies and processes - level 2 certifications or higher will be considered an asset
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives with defined timelines
- Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
- Experience in working in an international matrixed organisations
- International profile, readiness to get involved in international projects and to travel if required
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Prior experience in / knowledge of financial industry and AML area specifically will be considered as a significant advantage
