Business Technology Head

What duties will help you grow?

• As a Head of Business Technology at Capgemini Invent you will serve as a trusted CIO advisor.
• You will be leading and managing a team that collaborates with IT and industry specialists, putting their knowledge to benefit of leading business organizations in Poland and abroad.
• Overseeing the operations, service delivery and business development of the team, you will act as a Digital IT Transformation Expert running multiple projects with multi-disciplinary teams on the analysis, design and development of cutting-edge digital capabilities for our highly diversified portfolio of clients. You will ensure and be responsible for success of engagements, Clients as well as Capgemini Business Technology team. 
• Supervising Digital IT Transformation programs, you will be responsible for building your team of consultants and constantly aligning the pool of resources to the needs of the market in order to capture new segments and pioneering new industries

As a Head of BT you will act as a key member of the Capgemini Invent management body, participating in strategic business decisions, being instrumental in various cross-industry initiatives while contributing to the team ambitious growth.

On Client side, your team will focus on several types of engagements, such as:

• Digital IT Transformation
• IT Architecture and IT Strategy definition
• Business Processes redesign & digitalization
• IT application/solution deployment
• IT change management
• IT innovation

What do you need to start?

Professional Background

•  At least 10 years experience in IT consultancy or at CIO level.
• A track record of successful business development activities and client acquisitions in IT-oriented organizations.
• A track record as a project lead, bearing responsibility in the context of service delivery associated to one or several focus areas mentioned above. 
• Large experience in leading IT transformation initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of one or several industries’ business models and value levers, corroborated by several years of professional exposure.
• Strong project management skills in line with the industry standards (recognized certifications like PRINCE II, Agile, DevOps).
• Broad expertise in IT Governance and IT Change Management corroborated by certified knowledge of main industry standards (ITIL, COBIT, …)
• Good market and business insights, including strong CIO network. 
• A strong business acumen and sharp client-facing communication skills.

Educational Background

• A master’s degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Sciences.
• An MBA or an additional master’s degree is a plus.

Personal Skills

• You are fluent in English; French or German would be a plus.
• You have very strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills.
• You can empathize with clients in politically challenging environments, can work under pressure within given timeframes.
• You are a digital native, with a broad understanding of the current technology trends and naturally keep yourself updated on the latest.
• You are a team player that can work in teams with people of different grades and backgrounds.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, are results-oriented and have a can-do mentality.
• You are flexible in terms of assignment location.
