The ABB Way Finance Transformation Program is a business-led program that will help to underpin the new ABB Way operating model and decentralization agenda. It is a key first step in establishing global end-to-end processes and modernizing the finance part of our legacy ERP estate which will create sustainable benefits for ABB. The PMO Manager role is primarily focused on the entire Business Case Oversight including tracking and reporting with support of the dedicated Finance Controller. Support for Program Steerco in terms of meetings facilitation and summary of key points discussed and actions agreed. The role will also closely collaborate with the HR Project Manager to ensure proper recruitment and people activities are on track.

Your responsibilities
- Project leadership – helps define main guidelines, allocate project tasks, motivate and monitor internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones
- Provides performance feedback regarding plans and allocated resources working on projects
- Planning and scheduling – helps define, jointly with the PMO and key stakeholders, scope of work, resources required, time schedule, and detailed work allocation
- Develops, implements, and helps continuously improve standard processes, tools and ways of working by applying best practices to project environment and experience. Actively contribute and support program co-ordination with other ABB projects where required
- Project execution and control – effectively organizes, monitors and controls activities to ensure achievement of planned stage-gates and efficient utilization of resources
- Project governance – ensures projects follow sound methodology and execution practices in accordance with standard ABB internal directives and procedures
- Project reviews – Ensures that timely and effective project review preparations and project reviews takes place
- Stakeholder relations - Serves as the key contact for the project stakeholders, and an escalation point for project issues. Effectively communicates appropriate information to stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding and support
- Support Program Governance (e.g. schedule Governance meetings, facilitate and capture meeting minutes - Steerco, Stage Gate meetings, etc.),
- Manage program governance, risk and issue logs
- Develop and maintain Programme deliverables such as: Program RAID Log, Program Contact List, Org Chart, respective links for ITP with Recruitment Plan and IT tracker upon approved changes
- Maintain communication channels structure and accesses upon approved changes
- SPOC for Recruitment Project Manager to oversee recruitment tracker and status reporting
- Aligns with respective owners and stakeholders on the FTP and other transformation initiatives (e.g. Service Governance set up)
- Overall Business Case oversight - regular tracking and reporting to the Steering Committee
- Cooperates strictly with Finance Controller on the Business case tracking mechanism and adjustments maintenance
- Supports TMO Manager in the definition and implementation of Change Request process
- Review transition documentation and ensure all deliverables are accessible for all key stakeholders
- Maintenance of PMO toolkit upon approved changes
- Work hand in hand with TMO and as a backup when necessary
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a similar position within Shared Services environment with proven track record of transition management within shared Services organization
- Fluent English – verbal and written, excellent communication skills
- Core project management skills including expertise in project management methodology, tools and techniques
- Prioritizing and multi-tasking skills, excellent presentation and analytical skills
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio/Aris, PowerPoint)
- Business operations experience and understanding of R2R, P2P and O2C activities (including Intercompany) ideal
- PMP / PRINCE certification a plus
