
Global Process Analyst - Procurement

Working with Motion, you will ensure ABB has “fit to purpose”, speed-in process and intuitive user experience through indirect procurement processes with modern SCM Procurement systems with modern integration. Working in close collaboration with global and local business process owners, governance and project organization, the Process Analyst is a key role to develop seam-less end-to-end processes as part of accelerated procurement digitalization program. The objective is to achieve consistency in requirements and process design, with a target of achieving highest degree process standardization and adoption while identifying long term improvements and increased value-add for business process excellence. This role has an opportunity for hybrid working model.

Your responsibilities
- Through engaging with a network of business stakeholders across ABB gather business requirements to develop global common and locally fitted business distinct business processes design
- Develop end to end business scenario/s and specify use cases for the various business roles in scope, through close collaboration with other process areas achieve process integration with both up and downstream processes including architectural considerations and developing deep under-standing of how business process, functionalities and technical design fit best together with business requirements
- Work closely with global and local process owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to manage change activities such as training in relation to projects and process adoption within the organization
- In close collaboration with global and local business support organizations develop the knowledge base, facilitate knowledge transfer and help in developing operational support processes and ser-vice level definitions In close collaboration with the IS (Information Systems) services organization support functional analysts to gain required business process competence for developing test scripts and to create functional specifications
- Perform assessment and analysis of the process effectiveness and work with continuous improvement, support in periodic communication on achievements and sharing of best practices with a network of process experts
Your background
- Bachelors or Masters degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
- Good subject matter expertise and interest in the SAP environment is essential, ideally procurement applications (e.g. SAP Ariba)
- Possesses strong stakeholder management experience
- Experience of Procurement Processes within a Global Business Environment is highly desirable
- Competence in Lean Six Sigma and methods such as FMEA is highly desirable
- Project Management experience is highly desirable
- Technical IT knowledge / experience is highly desirable
- Ability to promote a team environment
- Strong facilitation and consensus building skills
- High sense of customer orientation and intrapreneurship
- Fluent spoken and written English with strong communication skills
