Responsibilities:
- oversee commercial performance in Poland and Slovakia and provide financial information for key business decisions,
- reviewing prices according to the annual plan,
- creating monthly sales reports with forecasts, potential variances and recommendations for improvement,
- supporting the decision-making process through scenario simulations and analysis,
- taking a lead role in implementing commercial finance best practices,
- participate in meetings with the commercial management team in Poland and Slovakia to discuss goals and objectives, analyse financial and operational KPIs, identify deviations and recommend corrective actions,
- being a business partner to commercial team leaders and management and being the responsible person for strategic financial projects in Poland and Slovakia,
- regularly visiting locations in Poland and Slovakia for personal consultations on topics and projects, together with members of the senior management team. - Approx. 20% of the time,
- supporting the company on credit management issues in line with group policy.
Requirements:
- a higher degree in finance, accounting or economics,
- minimum 4 years of experience as a Financial Controller or Financial Analyst,
- proactive, business-oriented attitude with the ability to analyse problems and identify solutions,
- excellent analytical mindset,
- strong financial background,
- fluent English,
- experience in managing a small team will be an advantage,
- experience in commercial finance will be an advantage.
