The mission of the Manager Cash and Controls, Disbursements, T&E is to lead the broad area of AP related operations, including processing of bank reconciliations, payments, and travel and expenses. The main focus is to ensure that all tasks are performed in an accurate and timely manner, in compliance with Stryker policies and procedures, and any applicable laws and regulations. The expectation of this role is to drive cost efficiency with procedure simplification, process standardization and systems opportunities.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
- Responsible for HR supervisory responsibilities of teams up to 25 employees, with up to 10 direct reports
- Ensures the strategy of the department is effectively implemented by ensuring consistent communication, reinforcement and management of defined objectives
- Monitors staff resource planning, organizing, and monitoring of key processes, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff
- Build analytical capabilities within the team and drives ongoing procedure simplification and process standardization
- Analyze the impacts of projects onto the teams, and validates implementation
Education and Experience
- Proven experience in Finance/AP operations roles + minimum experience of 4 years in people management role, preferably within a Shared Service Center
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Fluent in English
- Strong knowledge of internal control concepts
- Good knowledge of USGAAP is preferred
- Good working knowledge of SAP, Oracle or any other ERPs
