We are looking for:

DDI Operations Engineer Lead
 

Your future role: 

  • As a leader in this area you are expected to solve unique problems efficiently and effectively. You must be available to colleagues as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide mentoring to team members.
  • Supervise a team with various skill sets all focused on the goal of providing stellar customer support across the PwC Global Network Connectivity Suite of Services (SDWAN, VPN, Firewalls, DDI, WAF) with a primary focus on DDI
  • Sourcing and bringing in new technologies & features into DDI
  • Setting out the overall team roadmap and designing how the various technologies fit together successfully
  • Ensuring Day-to-Day Operations run smoothly and efficiently
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle major escalations
  • Responsible for the team scheduling & rotation
  • Setting objectives & targets for all team members
  • Identifying opportunities for improving team skills on both Network and Automation-related skills
  • Effectively communicating progress to various stakeholders across the organisation.


Apply if you have:

  • Strong Networking skills across all areas of DNS, IP Networking & Routing, SDWAN Technologies, VPNs, PaloAlto Firewalls, WAFs
  • Excellent understanding of various types of Monitoring & Alerting tools such as NPMs, Synthetics Monitoring Tools & SIEMS
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Event Management, CMDB & WorkSpace
  • Solid people & project management skills
  • Clear and concise communication skills to both Senior Management and the team.
     

Level of experience

  • Demonstrated minimum three (3) years of experience in Enterprise DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) systems.


Education/qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certifications: Cloud, Security, DNS are preferred.


Technical capability

  • Hands-on experience on DNS, DHCP, IPAM.
  • Experience in Windows/Linux operating system.
  • Experience with ITSM tools
