In this position, you will assist the organization by planning and overseeing costs and revenues while identifying trends and issues, informing relevant groups and the project team, and recommending actions to improve financial performance. Reporting to the Controlling and Planning Team Leader, you will cooperate with your business partner, stakeholders and management to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and identify trends.

Your responsibilities

• Performing analysis of actual financials versus budget and forecast and benchmarking key performance indicators with internal peers
• Providing TSA financial overviews to various target groups (STECO, TSA RM)
• Preparing Annual Cost Schedule prices review/adjustment
• Changing requests & service exits tracking, calculating invoices and instructions, payment tracking
• Supporting the preparation of project financial reporting, cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Performing monthly financial closing (accruals, internal cost recharges) and driving cost transparency of financial processes and reporting
• Ensuring proper reporting for the ABB Group (ABACUS)
• Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, presentation of findings and analysis
• Becoming a partner for the TSA Controller and Operational Leaders (TSA Controlling/IS Function Managers/ TSA PMO) in order to help them to understand and manage their financials
• Optimizing own performance to increase productivity, recommending changes of process standards and procedures, identifying areas for process/report standardization

Your background

• Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Controlling and/or FP&A/or Analysis & Reporting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Proven analytical and organizational ability
• Fluency in English – written & spoken
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Highly motivated to work in dynamic environment with orientation towards process improvement/simplification
• Strong attention to details, ensuring accuracy and confidence in information produced
• Ability to work well under pressure is a prerequisite (meeting deadlines with highest quality)
