We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President II, Fund/Client Accounting to join our NAV Solutions EMEA team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Dolnośląskie, Poland.

Team overview

NAV Solutions is a new start up team at BNY Mellon that sits outside of NAV Operations.  We utilize a software from the Milestone Group to perform NAV oversight and backup NAV services for both internal and external Clients.

Role Summary

This role offers a unique blend of startup agility within an established financial powerhouse. You will guide the Pcontrol platform initiatives to fruition, ensuring our projects exceed client expectations and contribute to the strategic growth of our operations in Poland.

We seek candidates who are highly motivated, that can perform at a high level in both a project and BAU environment.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Support the bank's significant strategic development by working closely with our principal business partner and gaining meaningful exposure to business leads.
  • Lead a team of skilled professionals to manage and drive forward key workstreams and initiatives, enhancing your leadership and project management skills.
  • Develop and extend collaborative working relationships with senior clients, technology, and operational support areas, effectively resolving problems/issues and identifying service improvement areas.
  • Understand and support pControl End to End (E2E) “Operating Model” scenarios for demonstration and client implementation purposes, ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate across various teams including Trades/Recons, Pricing, Security Master, Client Onboarding, and Technology Support to deliver superior service.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of total work experience, with a strong foundation in daily accounting systems processing, workflow architecture, automation, and information delivery.
  • At least 1 year in a management role, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Solid understanding of ancillary products and services provided to the client base (e.g., pricing, corporate actions, trade processing), security types, transaction flows, and the impacts of mistakes.
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to junior team members, acting as a point of escalation for break analysis and research and investigation of high impacting or complex issues.
