We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP to join our Enterprise-Wide Risk Management for the International region (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, Canada). This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland and is a hybrid role.

The team is responsible for driving the ongoing oversight of Enterprise Risk Management Framework and the integration with other strategic risk frameworks and processes for the International region (e.g. Legal Entity Risk identification, Risk Appetite). This includes providing independent oversight to the first line's risk identification, assessment, monitoring, remediation and reporting of the business's risk exposure. Expected to collaborate with the core team and entity teams and have very good stakeholder management skills. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways

  • Assist the team in developing and implementing Enterprise Risk Framework methodology and requirements for the International region. This includes key Enterprise Risk activity such as risk identification and risk appetite processes. This is to ensure material risk are effectively identified, managed, and reported to senior management.
  • Actively manage the Risk ID process, including the inventory of risks and emerging risks 
  • Support the development of common procedures and processes for International region to ensure consistent application of the Enterprise Risk Framework across Business Lines/Legal Entities (LEs). 
  • Contribute in defining best practices related to Enterprise Risk Framework and collaborate with risk managers in executing these requirements for their Business Lines/LEs. 
  • Assess relevant regulations and regulatory actions on Enterprise Risk Framework matters and support the communication of the effect on our businesses, policy, and processes.
  • Support the development, coordination, and delivery of Enterprise Risk Framework related training or workshops.
  • Special projects as determined by the Head of International Enterprise Wide Risk Management e.g. Drive efficiencies and processes related to Risk Identification and other Enterprise-Wide Risk Management activities

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Collaborative work style; Effectively interacting with partners across organization boundaries/hierarchies.
  • Self-motivated and enjoys collaborating with multiple teams
  • Track record of delivering and managing multiple projects 
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of risk management, economic issues, and regulatory environment; financial services / banking, investment services highly preferred
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 3-5 years of experience working in Risk Management with preferred but not essential experience within Enterprise, Operational, audit and compliance risk related fields
