PwC Poland’s QA team consists of 70 specialists who deal with complex IT system implementation projects. We provide high-quality solutions designed for clients in a wide range of industries, including financial services, energy, oil and gas, telecommunications, FMCG, and educational institutions. We work for clients in Poland, the UK, the USA, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, Japan, and many other countries. We create and audit test strategies, build test plans, and manage test teams made up of our QA engineers, our clients’ specialists and third-party contractors. We run both functional and non- functional tests; we also deal with test automation. We deploy the most innovative Customer Experience solutions for our clients.

We are looking for:

Senior Technical Test Analyst
 

Your future role: 

Assure that the software we deliver is of the best quality, basically:

  • Evaluate project requirements and Client expectations, 
  • Identify and choose appropriate test design techniques for different applications,
  • Produce test design specifications, test strategies and comprehensive reports,
  • Design test processes tailored to Client needs,
  • Select appropriate tools to automate technical testing tasks,
  • Outline the costs and benefits to be expected from introducing particular types of test automation,
  • Execute or support execution of the selected testing scope,
  • Support sales processes in testing area, provide expertise and estimation regarding effort and resources,
  • Test leadership to the testing teams,
  • Recognize and classify the typical risks associated with the performance, solution usability, business outcomes, code, architecture etc.,
  • Perform peer reviews and static analysis of the code and requirements.


Apply if you have:

Ability to do your best, in more detail:

  • At least 6 years of testing experience (functional UI level tests, APIs testing, integrations testing, performa etc.),
  • At least 3 years of experience in integration testing and in database testing,
  • Good understanding of the Waterfall and Agile software delivery methodologies,
  • Practical knowledge of HP ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps or other test management tools,
  • Very good command of English (communication with international project’s team members on daily basis),
  • Independence and proactive approach,
  • Self-organizing skills,
  • Good communication skills (both oral and written communication) and ability to work in a group,
  • Ability to present solution proposal to the customer,
  • Strong understanding of E2E business processes,
  • Knowledge of CRM, ERP systems would be nice (preferably Salesforce),
  • Understanding of log's messages, knowledge of ESB,
  • Experience in API testing, knowledge of tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger ,
  • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL databases,
  • CI/CD knowledge in SDLC,
  • Understanding of non-functional requirements and obstacles in testing,
  • Understanding of data integration testing, ETL processes.
     

Nice to have:

  • ISTQB Technical Test Analyst certification,
  • understanding of one of the programming languages, like Java, JavaScript, Python, C#,
  • Prior experience in working in international teams,
  • Experience in performance testing and tools such as JMeter.
