
Electrification: Talent & People Development Partner - Global Functions, Electrification

Your role and responsibilities:
- Partner with HR Leadership and Business Leaders to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through existing HR practices, processes, or policies in the area of functional specialty.
- Ensure best-in-class talent and learning solutions linked to the leader role lifecycle.
- Create a common ‘ground’, a standard (competencies and skills) to help people grow professionally, strengthening their engagement with ABB.
- Offer Talent & Learning consultancy and guidance to manage the distinct functional needs.
- Deploy EL Talent & Learning COMMON processes and solutions (EL Assessments, EL People Review Sessions: IBR and BCP, Soft Skills Programs, etc.)
- Establish collaboration with the EL Division Talent & Learning Partners to support the Career Development of the functional teams.
- Strengthen the connection with ABB Corporate and other BAs to maximize resources available and future solutions.
- Deliver learning programs to support the functional strategy: e. g. competency development, skill building, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure that all learning-related data (e.g., nominations, participations) is up to date in the relevant systems and platforms (LMS). Use learning metrics to guide business and talent decisions.
- Measure impact and effectiveness of learning solutions to ensure business relevance and to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish partnerships with a wide network of colleagues to ensure the implementation of best practices and the optimal use of resources. Build productive relationships at all levels and in all parts of the HR functions.
Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree required and a Master’s Degree preferred.
- Professional with 5-10 years of experience in HR with a focus and passion on talent management and Learning Development in complex settings, across multiple geographies and business areas and with a connection in a Shared Service environment
- Experience with the implementation of talent & learning initiatives in a global environment and working across multiple geographies and within a virtual team.
- Resilience and ability to work with ambiguity and changing set of circumstances and issues.
- Distinctive influencing skills
- Excellent relationship-building ability across stakeholders with a collaborative approach
- Self-driven, energetic, enthusiastic, and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.
- Fluency in English
