D&IT Business Solutions Manager

What this role is about?

Do you have a passion for data and a drive to make a difference?

What will you do?

Lead and manage data and analytics projects within the IT department.
Utilize IBM TM1 for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This includes developing and maintaining TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, and rules to support business requirements.
Design, implement, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, including SQL, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and Data Lake.
Analyze data sets to derive insights and support decision-making processes.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company standards and regulations.
Collaborate effectively with business partners to understand their requirements and provide suitable data solutions.
Development of relationships with customers to understand their needs and priorities, by collecting input from customers and stakeholders; identify and propose process / service / role design improvements geared towards simpliﬁcation and service level enhancement
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data and analytics.

What are we are looking for ?

College or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years’ experience in the IT discipline with 1+ of those years in IT Management of Business Solutions/ Application teams (including people management where relevant)
Proficient knowledge and experience with IBM TM1, including developing and maintaining TM1 models, cubes, and dimensions.
Experience in Microsoft Azure technologies: SQL, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake, Power BI is a big advantage.
Strong understanding of budgeting and financial planning processes.
Analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with business partners.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Past exposure to Agile methodologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of machine learning and AI technologies is a big plus.
Fluent verbal and written English
