What will you do:
- Maintaining excellent relationship with the Client.
- Prepare and deliver VAT registers for VAT returns.
- Prepare Intrastat reports, ECSL ECPL and other VAT related reports if required.
- Ensure timely reporting of VAT and comply with tax operational standards and procedures.
- Reconcile VAT, Intrastat and ECSL ECPL reporting data.
- Provide assistance for tax issues and ad hoc matters.
- Support team members or other teams AP, AR on correct tax treatment and VAT coding.
- Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, driving new implementations increasing the quality or automation of VAT reporting.
- Performing other tax related daily tasks and interacting with team members.
What we expect from you:
- At least 3 years of experience in tax operations or tax compliance
- Very good English and Polish language skills - both written and spoken
- Proficiency in handling Polish VAT reporting with solid knowledge of local VAT regulations and compliance requirements
- University degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Professional experience in SSC BPO or Big4 would be an advantage
- Practical skills in MS Office tools at a user level, and high Microsoft Excel skills
- SAP knowledge in tax accounting area
- Analytical skills with proactive approach
- Precision and attention to details, very good organizational skills
