Finance Managed Services (FMS) in PwC Poland is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. You can play an important role in supporting and transforming the operations of our domestic and international Clients. We continuously enhance our operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and integrating cutting-edge technological solutions for our customers. Join us in shaping and transforming operations for our domestic and international clients, as we delve into diverse, complex projects and collaborate closely with expert consulting teams to provide comprehensive finance services, including accounting and reporting, tax as well as financial planning & analysis, across various sectors in the region. 

We are looking for:

Accounting Expert

Your future role:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for the less experienced colleagues, sharing knowledge of policy/procedure with the colleagues,
  • Acting as a leader and an expert on customer calls with regards to most complex clients and issues,
  • Preparing and distributing regular reports on accounts payable status, providing AP-related data for management reports,
  • Properly executing changes, implementation and communication within operational  teams,
  • Encouraging identification and managing implementation of process optimization initiatives in order to achieve quality and efficiency improvement, as well as process standardization and harmonization in the region,
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers to facilitate smooth payment processes.

Apply if you have:

  • Wide expertise in AP accounting area; proven knowledge of AP processes - at least 4-5 years of accounting experience in complex areas of the accounts payable field, 
  • Advanced general accounting  knowledge (IFRS and/or US GAAP in particular) and operational experience,
  • Fluency in English and one of the other European languages (f.ex. German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese),
  • Strong experience in working with various accounting softwares,
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Google tools, experience with enterprise information systems, 
  • Results-and-solution-oriented with an ability to work within a global environment
  • Good communication and presentational and feedback giving skills to lead the operational quality calls,
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to organize, prioritize and deliver tasks. Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work directly under client supervision on client premises.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in maintaining external accounting for a variety of clients,
  • ACCA or any other accounting certificate.
