YOUR ROLE

This role requires deep technical knowledge of network orchestration  and the ability to design, execute, and manage comprehensive validation processes. We are seeking an experienced Validation Expert with extensive expertise in Cisco NED (Network Element Driver) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have commercial experience in testing and validation, specifically focusing on Cisco NSO (Network Services Orchestrator) and NED environments.

Our client is a global telecommunications and data center services provider, headquartered in Europe. 

YOUR TASKS

  • Lead the validation efforts for Cisco NEDs
  • Design and implement detailed test strategies and plans for NED validation, covering various scenarios including functionality, performance, scalability, and integration
  • Conduct thorough integration tests for Cisco NSO with different NEDs, ensuring seamless interaction between network services and devices
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to NED functionality, performance, and interoperability. Provide detailed analysis and reports on validation outcomes
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all validation processes, test cases, results, and technical issues encountered during testing
  • Work closely with development, QA, and network engineering teams to align validation activities with overall project goals. Provide expertise and guidance on best practices in NED validation

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network device testing and validation, with at least 3-4 years focused on Cisco NSO and NEDs
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO), Network Element Drivers (NED)
  • Experience with test frameworks and tools used in network validation environments
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, device configurations, and network service orchestration
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a networked environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document processes clearly and work effectively within a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or a related field is preferred
