Senior Finance Analyst, Emerging Markets

What you will be doing?
Within the COE, this position is part of the Emerging Markets HQ (over 10 clustered markets in Europe, Africa and Asia) FP&A team and is responsible for providing high quality FP&A activity for regional purposes. The role will combine elements of process management (e.g. timeline creation and communication), actuals and planning reporting and consolidation, process improvement and developing and deploying digital tools.
Your work will aide in the delivery of best in class processes, finance insight, consolidation of information at the regional level for both appraisal and planning. That includes the analysis and interpretation of monthly financial performance at a high level, with detailed investigation performed as required by liaising with the cluster and country teams to understand their performance. As part of this position you will be constantly reviewing the processes and procedures to determine the quality issues and gaps, and then to propose and implement improvements to change the way of working.
As part of the Emerging Markets FP&A team you will support the Senior Leaders in quarterly forecast and annual budgets including tracking targets and initiatives, and understanding risks and opportunities faced by different countries and clusters.
In this team you need to have excellent soft skills and utilize them to role model genuine collaboration, enterprise first thinking and demonstrate a learning mindset.
Outside of the direct team, the role needs to work closely across Controllers & GBS to ensure the monthly result delivery and accuracy of the master data.
Candidates with a strong technical orientation, advanced Excel and PowerBI skills will be advantaged, and prior experience in TM1/Cognos and SAP are preferred.
What will you need to be successful?
- At least 6 years of experience ideally with a combination of process (RTR etc) and partnering experiences, ideally within a multinational environment
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA membership or progressing student will be a plus
- Strong analytical skills, process improvement capability and very good presentation skills
- Business Finance experience
- Excellent team player in multi country teams with very good interpersonal and communication skills and international business exposure
- Fluent in English (verbal and written). C1
- Advanced skills in systems especially Excel and PowerBI, preferably with knowledge of MS Power suite (PowerQuery etc) would be additional asset
